Sick of the crowds on Halloween? Then come to APRILWEEN! Yup, Halloween in April -- a holiday so nice, we're doing it twice! Why wait until October to wear a costume? Dress up for $5 entry until midnight, and enter our Costume Contest, with hundreds of dollars in cash prizes! At 11 PM, live mashup rock band Smash-Up Derby takes to the Main Stage for a special spooky set, while dj BC -- founder of Bootie Atlanta and Bootie Boston -- flies in for a special guest feature set. He'll be joined by resident DJs A Plus D, Tripp, and JimiG, as they all throw a few wickedly fun Halloween mashes into the mix!

Bootie Atlanta will also be taking over Above, as dj BC and Pimpdaddysupreme bring ATL to SF. Popular Burning Man camp Decadent Oasis takes over the Lounge, with DJs davesimon, Hijinx, rrrus, and Alixr throwing down a great night of Aprilween bootie-shaking! And in the Dazzle Room, it's Brass Tax as DJs Marky Ray, Haute Mess, and more bring their signature delirious sound that continues to tear the roof off at their monthly rager in the Mission. All this, plus drag hosts WooWoo Monroe, Shelix, and Patty Cakes keeping the energy going, club photography by ShutterSlut, and free Bootie CDs to the first 100 people through the door!

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents.
