Sick of the crowds on Halloween? Then come to APRILWEEN! Yup, Halloween in April -- a holiday so nice, we're doing it twice! Why wait until October to wear a costume? Dress up to enter our Costume Contest at midnight, hosted by emcee Kingfish, with hundreds of dollars in cash prizes!

At 11 PM, Smash-Up Derby joins forces with Hubba Hubba Revue for a special Aprilween show! Bootie's own mashup rock band will take to the Main Stage, as the Bay Area's best burlesque & variety show performs on a smaller stage up front -- or high up in the rafters -- at the same time! Just like classic burlesque, the striptease performers will be accompanied by a live band. You won't know where to look!

Keeping the main dance floor moving with the Aprilween spirit will be resident DJs A Plus D and opening DJ JimiG, as they all add some monster mashups into the mix! Upstairs in the Lounge, Brass Tax takes over with DJs Marky Ray and Mace bringing their signature delirious sound that continues to tear the roof off at their monthly rager in the Mission. In the Loft, DJs Keith Kraft & Sharon Buck bring SEX!, filling it with that sexy electo-house you love. And finally, in the Dazzle Room, it's Global Clash as Brazilian DJ Lucio K spins the hottest electronic music from all over the world, from baile funk to global bass.

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents.
