Since 1999 Dark Sparkle has provided a unique mix of everything from goth to glam, new wave to punk, post-punk, electronics, esoterica, and the darker side of rock n roll. In 2025 expect a renewed focus on new, upcoming, underplayed, or otherwise forgotten artists that deserve rediscovery.

This month in Dazzle, DJs Chat Noir and X-Christ pay tribute to one of our all time favorite trad goth bands, Fields Of The Nephilim! We'll also be putting the spotlight on other foundational guitar based goth, coldwave, post-punk, and deathrock bands of the era. Expect to hear the likes of The Sisters Of Mercy, Rosetta Stone, Christian Death, Virgin Prunes, Killing Joke, Mephisto Walz, Siouxsie And The Banshees, and lesser known artists that helped pave the way for today's thriving darkwave scene.

In Above DJs Sage and MizMargo will be joining in the theme by providing even more guitar based doses of darkness! Expect to hear classic and contemporary goth, darkwave, post-punk, and deeper cuts to keep the dancefloor moving!

Come to dance, come to hang out with friends, or enjoy a dark corner all to yourself. However you choose to celebrate, this is going to be a hell of a party!
