Since 1999 Dark Sparkle has provided a unique mix of everything from goth to glam, new wave to punk, post-punk, electronics, esoterica, and the darker side of rock n roll. In addition to the classics, expect a focus on new, underplayed, or otherwise forgotten music that deserves rediscovery.

This month in Dazzle, we pay tribute to seminal record label 4AD! 4AD gained prominence in the 80s for releasing albums from gothic, post-punk, and dream pop artists, such as Bauhaus, Cocteau Twins, Modern English, Dead Can Dance, Clan Of Xymox, Xmal Deutschland, Tones On Tail, Pixies, The Wolfgang Press, and This Mortal Coil among many others. 4AD has continued to have success in the 1990s and beyond, with artists such as The Breeders, Pale Saints, Lush, Belly, Mojave 3, His Name Is Alive, The National and Red House Painters to name just a few. Expect to hear artists from the full spectrum of the 4AD catalogue!

In Above, MizMargo will be joined by returning DJ Wretch! They'll be playing a mix of classic and contemporary goth, darkwave, post-punk, and dark cuts to keep the dancefloor moving!

Come to dance, come to hang out with friends, or simply find a dark corner enjoy all by yourself. However you choose to celebrate, this is going to be a hell of a party!
