Welcome women of the tech world and all who support us! DNA Lounge will be host to an evening to laugh, connect, and discuss the issues, triumphs, and future of women in the computer technology field.

Rebecca Watson will be our main speaker for the evening, followed by an amazing panel of women TBA, to dialog with the audience, followed by tea service from the ladies of FemininiTea (an all women based tea gathering group started in San Francisco). After the discussion there will be tea and music. The tea is free, and DNA Lounge also has a full bar with drinks for sale, as well as food from its pizza kitchen.

About the main speaker:

Watson founded Skepchick in 2005, describing it as \"an organization dedicated to promoting skepticism and critical thinking among women around the world.\" Fourteen other bloggers beside Watson now contribute regularly, including one man. In 2006, Watson released first of several Skepchick Calendars, a pin-up calendar featuring pictures of skeptical women for every month. Proceeds provided the attendance fee for several female applicants to attend the James Randi Educational Foundation's The Amaz!ng Meeting.
