Jerk-Off Valentine will be a jug-band style folk singalong featuring all the instruments, all the dancing girls and all the knee-knocking yippi's one could ask for. Jerk Church is a creative musical learning community for musicians and non-musicians alike, style based roughly 1920-50's jazz train underground with the unintentional side note of being predominately Irish. Church is a weekly back yard get together among friends which features music, the communal breaking of bread, and raising of cups in celebration of our friendships. Jerk Church is based in West Oakland with additional Chapters in Portland, Los Angeles, Seattle and Black Rock City, to which we've extended our family to the like minded; interested in drinking a shwill and singing a tune.
