#Y3K is the event to define 2013. A constant influx of the most high profile electronic hiphop artists of the moment and DJ sets to keep your ear drums bursting with dirty esoteric beats all night, #Y3K maintains an unrivaled and deeply underground edge. Genre-destroying acts from all over the world fly to San Francisco to ignite the DNA Lounge stage and perform IRL at this monthly #alt party.
Brenmar: This Brooklyn based DJ act, fuses UK bass and urban hip hop to a heightened sexuality. His reverence to pop music of the 90's and underground house brings an elite presence to DNA Lounge. With albums on Grizzly, Discobelle & Mixpak, Brenmar will break new ground with his upcoming mixtape, releasing in February 2013.
Salva: Paul Salva produced one of 2012's biggest tracks, a collaborative remix of Kanye West's \"Mercy\" that reached #1 on Soundcloud, and received spins on major radio stations across the U.S. Now he's setting off 2013 at DNA Lounge with massive bass waves and funky grooves for a crowd pumping dance night for the future.
Resident DJ Marco de la Vega, alt-dance party connoisseur, was recently featured in the Guardian for his enigmatic and haunting DJ styles. He has played with Salem, Riff Raff, Das Racist, Chelsea Wolfe and Andy Stott. Originally from New York, Marco now dominates the SF scene with the coolest cross-genre parties in the West.
