Secret Psychedelica presents the third annual Cancer party on Saturday, July 8th, 2023. These zodiac themed events have become a beacon for psychedelic trance fans in the San Francisco Bay Area and continues to bring top psytrance producers and DJs to the DNA Lounge on the 2nd Saturday of every month. For the first Secret Psychedelica party of the summer, we'll be celebrating those born under the fourth sign of the zodiac with music from Cancerian artists Barakuda, Eddy Moran, Bella Fleur, and Do?U?!

Barakuda returns to the DNA Lounge for the first time in five years! Renown in all psytrance circles worldwide, he is most recognized as the founder of California's longest running psytrance event production company, PsyTribe. Barakuda is also a veteran DJ having started in 1995 as well as an accomplished producer as part of the Strange Cookies duo. His years of experience as a DJ can be heard in the versatility of his sets that drip in energy, creativity, and intensity. His productions with Strange Cookies have charted multiple times and can be found on labels such as BMSS Records, PsynOpticz Records, and Pharmacy Music. Hold on tight when Southern California's true psytrance master comes back to shake the dance floor once more.

Eddy Moran, Bella Fleur, and Do?U? represent three stages of Carcinos, the Cancer Crab. These hometown heroes are all at different points in their career as psytrance DJs but have all proven themselves time and time again with their tenacious attention to detail in mixing and track selection. Eddy Moran is the adult in the room as the sole Northern California label DJ for Sculpted Sounds and has had countless bookings throughout his career. Bella Fleur is the megalopae with a recent name switch from Cyber Rat to focus on the new cutting edge sounds of psytrance. Do?U? is the zoea as one of San Francisco Bay Area's newest psychedelic trance DJs and even in his short time playing, he has electrified dance floors at Site Trance and Crooked Legacy events. Secret Psychedelica residents, the Juice Box DJs will open things up in the psytrance room.

The second room of music, normally dedicated to drum & bass at past Cancer parties, will flip things over to tech house this year. Hosted by the Peninsula's premiere electronic music party crew, We Push Play, the room will feature an all Cancer lineup of DJs including InStereo recording artist, Denise! Joining her will be Goddy, R-E, Wraith, and Salvo delivering their groovy sounds that have helped put We Push Play on the map.
